Volta Group is seeking an experienced Land Agent to support active infrastructure and energy development projects across Nebraska immediately. We’re looking for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who thrives in the field, understands landowner engagement, and can confidently move projects forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct landowner outreach, negotiations, and relationship management for energy/infrastructure development projects
- Secure site control through option agreements, easements, leases, and related land agreements
- Perform title review support and ownership research as needed
- Coordinate directly with internal project managers, title teams, and client stakeholders
- Maintain accurate activity tracking, reporting, and documentation
- Represent Volta Group professionally in the field and within local communities
- At least 50 percent minimum travel throughout the assigned Nebraska project areas as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Land Agent, ROW Agent, or similar land services role
- Experience in renewable energy, transmission, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects strongly preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while managing deadlines and deliverables
- Familiarity with land records, easement agreements, and landowner negotiations
- Nebraska experience and existing regional relationships are a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; GIS/Land management platform experience is a bonus
